Well, the attributes you listed would fall under the aromatherapy category.  Herbs work on specific bodily functions and diseases but aromatherapy can change the brain chemistry.  

Here’s a good confidence booster recipe:

  • 8 drops of basil
  • 5 drops of grapefruit
  • 3 drops lemon
  • 2 drops of lavender

You can diffuse this in an oil diffuser or place on a cotton ball and inhale.  

The so called herbs that state they are good for the above mentioned list are all sedatives which are counter-productive so go the aromatherapy route!

How sad it is to wake up one day and hear that someone who not just once made the world laugh got lost and suffered from depression.
